Cryptozoology
- Aliens Space beings that are visiting or studying humankind. (little green men, space creatures, green aliens, grays)
- Bigfoot – A type of Sasquatch native to North American forests. (Yeti, Screamer, boogy man, swamp man, Windigo, Florida Skunk Ape, etc.) About 50 different names but all referring to the same type of creature. Typically they mean “Wild Man of the Woods”!
- Black Dog – An evil spirit dog that stalks city streets at night.
- Black Eyed Beings – They take human form but have black, soulless eyes and emanate a sense of pure evil.
- Bogeyman – A semi-corporeal being whose sole purpose is to scare people. A typically story told to children for their control.
- Crittercams – video cameras that researchers attach to animals. Crittercams let the people see an animal’s world from its point of view.
- Cryptid – a creature that some people believe is real but whose existence has not been scientifically proven.
- Cryptozoologists – scientist who study animals / creatures that may or may not exist. This includes animals from myths, folklore, or legends.
- Cryptozoology – the study of hidden, unknown, or yet-to-be-discovered animals / creatures.
- Demon – Malevolent spirits of Hell who battle humans for control of their souls.
- Doppelganger -a look-alike or double of a living person, sometimes portrayed as a paranormal phenomenon, and is usually seen as a harbinger of bad luck.
- Also known as: Apparitions of people that occur in impossible situations.
- Dwarf – A short, husky humanoid who lives underground.
- Fairy/ Imp – A small, flying humanoid with magical abilities. mischievous creatures who liked to play pranks on people.
- Ghosts – Spirits of the dead whose souls remain in the realm of the living.
- Gnome – A small, humanoid creature who lives and moves beneath the earth.
- Goblin – A grotesque, troublesome little creature.
- Hoax – an act or trick designed to fool people into believing something that isn’t true.
- Legends – stories that have been passed down for generations, especially ones that are presented as history but are unlikely to be true.
- Loch Ness Sea Monster – The elusive sea-monster from the Loch Ness in Scotland.
- Mermaids – Sea creatures with the head and torso of a woman and the tail of a fish.
- Moth-man – A winged creature in the shape of a man with hypnotic red eyes sighted in West Virginia, and other surrounding states
- Mythical Creature – a fantastic animal that exists only in legends and folktales. (unicorns)
- New Jersey Devil – A flying creature with a high-pitched scream and a horse-like head native to New Jersey.
- Sasquatch – (Bigfoot) Large, hairy, man-like beasts that live in the woods. An extremely unpleasant odor.
- Urban Myth – a story, esp one with a shocking or amusing ending, related as having actually happened, usu. to someone vaguely connected with the teller
- Vampire – bloodsucker who feeds on blood. (associated with Bat’s)
- Werewolf – They are Human by day, and wolf by night.
- Zombie – The living dead who are soulless
