I’ve been drinking this since I was a kid. Because I’m a diabetic I don’t drink one except every 4 months or so.
Trident Maple Tree
This is a trident maple that I’ve grown from seed. It’s about ready to go dormant for the year and I’m going to re-pot it. Gorgeous trees, grown in zone 8 and I’m in a zone 9 so I’m going to have to grow it in the shady of other trees.
Aji Lemon Pepper Sauce
Here is some Aji Lemon (Aji Limon) pepper sauce I’m making. It’s the Aji Lemon, carrots, fresh garlic, onions, little salt, little sugar, and some lemon peal (shaved of with potato peeler). Every loves the sauce. It has the lemony flavor with a good amount of heat to it. My personal favorite.
Orange BOC Copenhagen
These are an Bhut Orange Copenhagen (BOC) and yes they are very HOT… SuperHot actually. They are a newer pepper and gorgeous. They still have the heat of a Bhut Jolokia aka, Ghost Pepper. They make great sauce or even a better powder, dried and ground up to a powder.
Way Down Upon The Suwannee River
This stand at the Suwannee River in Fanning Springs, Florida. The river has a lot of history in the early Florida settlements. Today most Floridians have played or fished on part of the great river. Every time any of us are on or by the river the song plays in our heads. “Old Folks at Home” is a minstrel song written by Stephen Foster in 1851. Since 1935 it has been the official state song of Florida, although in 2008 the original lyrics were expurgated.
Coke Ovens
The are Coke Ovens. Coke is a fuel with few impurities and a high carbon content, usually made from coal. It is the solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. Cokes made from coal are grey, hard, and porous. While coke can be formed naturally, the commonly used form is man-made. The form known as petroleum coke, or pet coke, is derived from oil refinery coker units or other cracking processes.
